Jul. 4 Hikari’s Happy 1st Birthday!

7月4日はひかりの誕生日！
ウチに来てから約2ヶ月が経ちました。
その間にお風呂には何度か入れたのですけど
トリミングは一度も行ってませんでした。

トリミングをして綺麗になったところでひかりはな～～んにも見えないし
そもそも眼球がないので目の周りの毛を刈る必要がありません。

外出するのも、毛を刈られるのも
特に嬉しいわけではないでしょうけど
このままモコモコボサボサのままだと夏は暑いかなぁ～と思い
初めてトリミングに連れて行きました！

なんだか宇宙人チックでちんちくりんですが
体と足の毛も刈ってもらってスッキリ！

Jul. 4 was Hikari’s birth day.
It’s been about 2 months since when she arrived here.
Meanwhile I’ve already given her a bath several times but I haven’t taken her yet to the pet salon for a hair cut.

But I think she doesn’t know or even see that because she’s blind
So, she doesn’t need any trimmings around her eyes because she can not see anything and she doesn’t have any eyeballs.

I think she doesn’t like to go to the pet salon and to have a haircut.
But I’m really wondering.
Maybe she’s feeling uncomfortable because it’s summer and she has a thick hair.
So finally, I decided to take her to the pet salon for a haircut.

The pet salon staff gave her the accessory for free.
Isn’t she adorable as a girl?

誕生日プレゼントには

網目の隙間からおやつを入れてあげると
一生懸命しつこいくらいカミカミしてます。

「歯磨き＆歯茎のマッサージにも効果的!?」らしいです。
嫌いではなさそうなのでしばらく使ってみようと思います！

I bought chew toys and teether my two dogs as their birthday present.

Apparently it is good for their gums and their teeth.
So I’m going to make them use it.

ひかりだけだと可哀想なのでプーラには赤い
【ドギーマンハヤシ カムガムアミーバー ダンベル S】を購入！

プーラもかなり気に入ってくれて
ひかりよりも熱心にカミカミしてます。
あまりにもしつこいので取り上げようとしたら物凄い形相で「ウゥ～～～！」って唸られました。
野性的な一面を見せてくれました。

The green color was for Hikari as her Birthday present while the red one was for Pura.
On the ontherhand, Pura really likes her red teether. It became her favorite toy.
She’s chewing it eagerly than Hikari.
Pura snarled at me when I tried to pick it up from her because she was persistent to chew it.
She showed me the wild side of her.

プーラは悪徳ブリーダーから救われた子なので、人を避ける傾向があり
馴れた私にも口の中を触らせてくれません…
そんなわけで歯磨きがあまりできなくて困っていたので
このおもちゃを気に入ってくれて助かってます！

このおもちゃが本当に歯磨きや歯茎の健康に良いのなら
お口を開いてくれないワンちゃんにはオススメです。

She doesn’t even let me touch inside her mouth because she came and saved from bad breeder that’s why she tends to refuse humans.
That’s the reason I’m having trouble to brush her teeth.
This chewing toy is very helpful for me and her.

I strongly recommend this for dogs especially if they have trouble in brushing and gum problems.
